I spent my teenage years and early twenties chasing winters and competing as a ski racer around the world. This experience gave me a taste for travel and led me to Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe where I took up a sports scholarship and studied Digital Art. It was there that I found my love for imagery and especially photography.
After graduation I started building websites and taking photos during my adventures in the backcountry skiing and of the life that went on around me. Taking more and more photos led to paid jobs which has progressed into a full time occupation.
During this time I figured out that what most interests me is the real moments that happen around me. I try to portray the spontaneous and quirky moments that I see in the world. I like to think that my photos are an honest representation of the unique way that I see the world.
I shoot most of my personal photography on film, I love the way it changes the process of photography and the uncomplicated and raw results it produces.
